About the role
NWRH is recruiting an Allied Health Assistant in Mount Isa for a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension. The role supports allied health clinicians during client appointments and offers hands-on healthcare experience while completing a degree. The advertised salary is from $62,644 plus super.
Key responsibilities
- Support allied health clinicians during client appointments.
- Prepare therapy resources and clinical equipment.
- Assist with therapy programs and client activities.
- Travel with clinicians to outreach communities as required.
Required profile
- Interest in Allied Health or Health Care.
- Current C Class driver licence.
- Eligible for, or able to obtain, a Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Pre-employment screening (referee checks, AFP check and NDIS Worker Screening Check) is required before starting.

- Teamwork skills.
