Allied Health Assistant

About the role

Cerebral Palsy Alliance is looking for a casual Allied Health Assistant in Allambie Heights, NSW. The role supports therapists at the organisation by helping clients build capacity for movement, communication and mobility through therapy programs delivered under the guidance of the multidisciplinary clinical team. Candidates are encouraged to live close to the Northern Beaches area.

Key responsibilities

• Work with clients and help build their capacity for movement, communication and mobility
• Deliver and implement therapy programs under the guidance of the clinical team
• Prepare, adapt and maintain therapy resources needed for service delivery
• Work independently and collaboratively, making informed decisions that shape client care

Required profile

• Current driver's licence and own vehicle
• NDIS Worker Check and Working With Children Check, or ability to obtain them
• Relevant experience in the disability or sports sector
• Cert IV in Allied Health Assistance, or a 3rd or 4th year allied health degree student, or equivalent experience
