Allied Health Assistant - Healthy Kindy Kids

About the role

Sunshine Coast Health is recruiting a Clinical Assistant (Allied Health Assistant) for its Healthy Kindy Kids team. The role supports the delivery of allied health services across the Sunshine Coast region, working in several kindergarten locations and travelling within the community. The Healthy Kindy Kids program gives free health checks to children attending kindergarten so that health or developmental needs can be identified early.

Key responsibilities

• Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team delivering health screening to kindergarten children attending a government-approved kindergarten in the Sunshine Coast region.
• Provide clinical screening assessments as delegated and allowed by testing guidelines and legislation.
• Provide treatments as prescribed by the Allied Health Practitioner, working under their general direction using decision support tools, clinical pathways and patient guidelines.
• Contribute to patient records in line with organisational and legal requirements.

What we offer

• Salary of $71,301-$75,475 per year (full-time), or $35.96-$38.06 per hour (part-time); permanent full-time and part-time positions available, hours negotiable.
