Air Logistics Healthcare Operational Care Specialist

About the role

As an Air Logistics Healthcare Operational Care Specialist you will guide healthcare and biopharma clients through every stage of a consignment, from booking to proof of delivery. You will work with the QuickSTAT team in Australia, ensuring speed, precision and trust for time‑critical, temperature‑controlled shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Answer calls and emails professionally, manage the shared Customer Service/Control Group mailbox and ensure messages are captured.
• Process consignment orders received via phone, email or Quickonline, route them, classify service type and manage green‑light approvals.
• Calculate and arrange temperature‑controlled packaging, monitor special alarms and loggers via Quick Track.
• Provide continuous status updates, produce daily status reports and follow up on flight or customs delays, proofs of delivery and additional charges.
• Develop strong client relationships, support Customer Relationship Managers and deliver timely quotations with the pricing team.
• Verify compliance with company policies and ensure network and vendor partners adhere to agreed procedures and pricing.

Required profile

• Prior experience in a customer‑service environment with strong verbal and written communication.
• Comprehensive understanding of courier and freight operations, preferably with biopharma experience.
• Good knowledge of world geography, time zones and transit milestones such as COB and POD.
• Familiarity with cold‑chain packaging solutions and pharmaceutical import/export regulations.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure, make quick decisions and manage time effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
