AI/ML Associate

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic AI/ML Associate to join our technology and innovation team on a remote basis in Australia. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates or early‑career professionals who want to develop practical experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, and generative AI.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, clean, and validate datasets for machine‑learning projects.
• Assist in building, training, and evaluating ML models.
• Perform statistical analysis and create visualisations to support business decisions.
• Support AI model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Participate in data collection, feature engineering, and model testing.
• Collaborate with software engineering and product teams on AI initiatives.
• Document methodologies, experiments, and performance metrics.
• Contribute to AI‑powered automation, predictive analytics, and Generative AI/LLM projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
• 0–1 year of relevant experience through internships, academic projects, capstones or research.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Required skills

• Python programming fundamentals.
• SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms and statistical analysis.
• Familiarity with machine‑learning concepts and model evaluation techniques.
