Advertising Sales Executive

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Advertising Sales Executive to join Sage Media Group, a publisher of four leading industry magazines in Australia. In this role you will be responsible for generating new business and expanding relationships with existing advertisers, contributing directly to the company’s revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify prospective advertisers through proactive prospecting, cold calling and networking.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their marketing objectives and recommending appropriate magazine solutions.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed assigned sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of activities and pipeline in the company’s CRM system.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and persuasive abilities.
• Self‑driven with a strong results orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Demonstrated experience in sales, preferably within media or advertising.
