Advanced Healthcare Implementation Engineer

About the role

As an Advanced Healthcare Implementation Engineer you will design and deliver secure, scalable integrations between Solventum solutions and customer healthcare systems, working closely with IT teams, EMR vendors and third‑party providers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement integrations using HL7, FHIR, APIs and other interoperability standards.
• Conduct technical discovery, solution design and configuration to meet customer requirements.
• Lead validation, testing and go‑live readiness activities.
• Provide advanced technical support and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years implementing, integrating or supporting healthcare technology solutions.
• Experience working directly with customer IT teams and third‑party vendors.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple engagements.

Required skills

• HL7 v2.x, FHIR, API integration.
• Experience with EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech.
• Interface engines and integration platforms.
• SaaS deployments, cloud‑hosted solutions, networking fundamentals, identity management.
• Root cause analysis and documentation of implementation knowledge.
• Knowledge of healthcare data privacy, security and regulatory requirements.
