About the role
A Hobart branch of a windscreen repair, replacement and ADAS calibration company is looking for an ADAS Technician. The client has been in the business for over 30 years and offers mobile and in-branch servicing across metro and regional areas, supporting insurance, fleet, dealership and trade customers. You will deliver accurate, efficient and safe calibrations of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems using OEM-approved methods.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service, answering inquiries promptly and resolving complaints within 24 hours
- Maintain respectful handling of vehicles, accurate test drive records and timely setup of new trade accounts
- Perform ADAS calibrations to a high standard, following the standard process and meeting daily targets
- Maintain calibration equipment and report issues to the Calibration Manager
- Research OEM repair methods and attach them to calibration reports in NatConnect
- Complete calibration reports accurately and securely, following procedures for sensitive information
- Follow NWG policies, OH&S requirements and secure storage of ADAS tools
- Support the Branch Manager in growing the ADAS trade by engaging with local collision and automotive repair businesses
- Complete required ADAS training and certifications and take part in industry forums and team meetings
Required profile
- Certificate or Diploma in Automotive Electrical, Mechanical Technology or similar
- At least 2 years' experience as an Auto Electrician, Automotive Mechanic or OE dealership technician
- Strong background in vehicle diagnostics and calibration, or similar experience
- ADAS-related OEM or supplier certification highly preferred
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel locally
- Flexible hours and willingness to travel to different locations
