Accounts Receivable Officer

About the role

Join ITW Construction Products Asia Pacific to protect cash flow, strengthen customer relationships and support business performance as an Accounts Receivable Officer. This 12‑month fixed‑term role can be based in Melbourne or Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and maintain debtor ledgers.
• Process and allocate incoming payments accurately.
• Follow up outstanding accounts, build positive relationships and achieve collection targets.
• Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies and resolve queries.
• Prepare and issue customer statements and receivable reports.
• Monitor credit limits and overdue accounts, advising the Credit Manager.
• Process new account applications and maintain customer records.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Required profile

• 3+ years’ experience across the full Accounts Receivable function.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, collections and credit practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing or industrial sectors is a plus.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Exposure to Pronto ERP (preferred).
