Accounts Receivable Officer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join the Finance team at Campos Coffee. In this position you will ensure that customer payments are received, allocated accurately and collected on time, supporting healthy cash flow for our fast‑moving consumer goods business.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate EFT, credit‑card and Webstore payments in Sage and process manual credit‑card transactions.
• Contact customers for payment authorisations, follow up declined cards and resolve short payments, disputes and invoicing issues.
• Process customer refunds promptly and reconcile incoming payments across multiple entities.
• Manage creditor‑watch enquiries, proactively chase overdue accounts and negotiate payment arrangements.
• Develop debt‑collection strategies, work with collection agencies and legal representatives as needed.
• Serve as the first point of contact for AR‑related enquiries from customers and internal teams, and support month‑end AR reporting.

Required profile

• Experience in accounts receivable or credit control within an FMCG environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
