Accounts Payable Officer – SAP Specialist (Hybrid)

About the role

Our client, a leading global mining company, is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join its Brisbane CBD finance team on a casual full‑time contract through to December 2026. The role focuses on high‑volume invoice processing in SAP while maintaining strong vendor and stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end Accounts Payable processing, including coding, matching and payment runs.
• High‑volume invoice processing and supplier statement reconciliations.
• Investigation and resolution of invoice discrepancies.
• Managing vendor queries and maintaining supplier relationships.
• Updating and maintaining supplier records within SAP.
• Collaborating with nine finance teams and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an end‑to‑end Accounts Payable role.
• Strong SAP experience (essential).
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
