Accounts Officer

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Officer to join a well‑established construction business in South Perth. Reporting to the Director, you will own the accounts payable function while also supporting accounts receivable, payroll and project reporting, offering variety and autonomy in a growing company.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end accounts payable processing, including supplier invoice management, reconciliations and payments.
• Assist with accounts receivable tasks such as invoicing and payment follow‑ups.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support month‑end processes.
• Liaise with internal project teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Support compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Help transition the finance function to a new ERP system (JobPack).

Required profile

• Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably within construction or a similar industry.
• Exposure to accounts receivable processes.
• Strong understanding of how accounting processes support project and business operations.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Team‑focused attitude with excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with JobPack or a comparable ERP/CRM system.
