Accountant – Graduate Opportunity

About the role

This graduate/early‑career accountant position offers the chance to develop SAP knowledge and build a long‑term career within a large, dynamic agribusiness. The role supports day‑to‑day financial activities and provides exposure to budgeting, forecasting and audit preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily financial tasks such as pricing, excise calculations and reporting.
• Assist with month‑end processes including journals, reconciliations and reporting packs.
• Help with budgeting, forecasting and SAP/BW data uploads.
• Contribute to year‑end audit preparation and financial close activities.
• Provide back‑up support to accounts receivable and the Commercial Manager.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve processes and maintain strong financial controls.

Required profile

• Financial or commercial degree, preferably with an accounting or finance major.
• Progress toward CPA, CA or CIMA qualification (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail, planning and organisational skills.
• Collaborative communication style and ability to manage competing priorities.

Required skills

• Exposure to SAP (study, project work or previous employment).
• Strong Excel and PC skills.
