Accountant – Fast‑moving Consumer Goods

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to join our finance team in a dynamic FMCG environment. You will support critical financial processes, work closely with stakeholders and gain exposure to a wide range of accounting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily bank reconciliations and monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Support month‑end activities including journal preparation, expense reviews and account reconciliations.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset register, handling capitalisation, disposals, transfers and depreciation forecasts.
• Manage IFRS 16 lease accounting, including monthly journals and budgeting.
• Prepare compliance and reporting submissions such as BAS, FBT, expense reports and ABS.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years’ experience as a Financial Accountant.
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting with CA or CPA studies underway or planned.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel.
• Confidence working with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of IFRS 16 lease accounting.
