Accountant – Business Advisory

About the role

Join Vincents as an Accountant in the Business Advisory team, supporting a diverse client base with accounting and tax services while developing your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals.
• Assist with tax compliance, including BAS, IAS, GST, PAYG and fringe benefits tax.
• Review client information, maintain accurate workpapers and prepare journal adjustments.
• Conduct tax research and respond to client queries.
• Manage workload and deadlines while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Required profile

• At least 12 months’ experience in an accounting role within a professional services environment.
• Degree in Business or Commerce with a major in Accounting.
• Interest in commencing or progressing towards a CA or CPA qualification.
• Foundational knowledge of Australian tax compliance and accounting principles.
• Strong analytical thinking, organisational skills and client‑focused communication.
