Accountant – Broad Commercial Role in Perth

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join a well‑established mining services company in Perth CBD. This position offers a broad commercial accounting focus, allowing you to work closely with key stakeholders and support the financial health of a growing business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Lead month‑end close processes and perform balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow reporting.
• Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) and support statutory reporting.
• Support audits and year‑end reporting activities.
• Partner with operational teams to provide financial insights.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a commercial accounting role.
• CA or CPA qualification, or actively working towards completion.
• Proven experience preparing management accounts and month‑end reporting.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and reconciliation abilities.

Required skills

• SAP or another ERP system.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
