Account Manager – Residential Builder Relations

About the role

Buildsafe is seeking an experienced Account Manager to support residential builders and construction clients across South Australia. You will split your time between the office and construction sites, managing quotes, follow‑ups and CRM activity while building strong relationships with builders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of residential builder clients across South Australia.
• Balance office‑based sales activities with regular site visits and client meetings.
• Support Senior Account Managers in client management and growth opportunities.
• Coordinate quotes, bookings and project follow‑ups.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records in the Buildsafe CRM.
• Work closely with operations to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Identify opportunities to increase share of wallet within existing accounts and acquire new clients.
• Maintain strong client retention through consistent service and follow‑through.

Required profile

• Commercially minded and well‑organised.
• Comfortable balancing office administration with regular site engagement.
• Owns portfolio, communicates clearly and follows things through.
• Confident dealing with builders and site teams.
• Current driver’s licence (essential).

Required skills

• Experience in construction, building services, scaffold, access or hire industries.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Practical, solutions‑focused mindset.
• Experience using CRM systems to manage sales activity.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
