Account Manager – Queensland, Northern Territory & Pacific Islands

About the role

The Account Manager will manage and grow customer relationships across Queensland, the Northern Territory and Pacific Islands, delivering exceptional service and commercial results. You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring long‑term partnerships and aligning customer needs with QIAGEN’s objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and serve as the primary point of contact.
• Conduct regular business reviews, resolve escalations, and ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
• Identify upselling, cross‑selling and contract expansion opportunities to achieve revenue targets.
• Manage contracts, pricing agreements, renewals and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Forecast sales performance, maintain accurate CRM records and collaborate with internal teams on product launches and implementations.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Molecular Biology, Life Sciences or a related field.
• Proven experience in account management, business development or sales within the diagnostic/life‑science industry.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite.
