Account Manager – Paint Industry (Perth)

About the role
We are looking for a dynamic Account Manager to represent one of Australia’s most iconic paint brands, Taubmans, in Perth and its southern suburbs. You will be responsible for driving commercial growth, profitability and long‑term partnerships across your territory.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic account plan to maximise sales, market share and profitability.
- Build, maintain and expand a portfolio of commercial trade accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities and grow existing customer relationships.
- Use CRM tools to manage customer data, track activities and maintain a disciplined call plan.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development and logistics to deliver tailored solutions.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, growth objectives and profitability goals.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and client meetings.
Required profile
- Previous experience in account management or a related role within the paint trade.
- Willingness to attend events outside standard work hours as needed.
- Strong communication skills with an easy‑going approach to building trust.
- Proven record of establishing new relationships and growing existing business.
- Current driver’s licence and Australian work rights.
