Account Manager – Mining Solutions (Adelaide)

About the role

We are seeking a self‑driven, results‑focused Account Manager (Mining Solutions Specialist) to join Blackwoods' high‑performing BHP sales team in Adelaide. You will be responsible for managing and growing the BHP relationship, delivering exceptional value and ensuring contract outcomes exceed expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, develop and grow key relationships across BHP sites in Adelaide, Roxby Downs and interstate.
• Identify growth opportunities through strategic planning and data‑driven analysis.
• Achieve high customer satisfaction by retaining business and meeting contracted expectations.
• Collaborate with the Customer Care, quotes and wider BHP sales teams both locally and interstate.
• Conduct regular market and competitor analysis, reporting trends and shaping proactive strategies.
• Travel to sites as required to execute contract deliverables and support on‑the‑ground activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years B2B account management or business development experience, preferably in manufacturing, mining, heavy equipment or related industrial sectors.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with existing local contacts.
• Proactive, autonomous and able to exceed customer expectations.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and collaborative mindset.
• Experience with industrial safety or apparel products is advantageous.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
