Account Manager - Medical Devices

About the role

A medical device manufacturer, an Australian family-owned business that has been developing and producing customised devices for healthcare professionals and caregivers for over a decade, is recruiting an Account Manager (Territory Manager) based in Brisbane. The role covers the whole of Queensland, with the majority of time spent in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba, and about 10% regional travel.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for customers such as Clinical Product Managers, community nurses, distributors, purchasing managers, contract managers in QLD Health, CNEs, CNCs, NUMs, doctors and clinicians, building long-term relationships to exceed sales targets.
• Win new customers and develop long-term relationships with existing ones.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and external stakeholders, delivering solutions on time and growing sales while providing excellent customer service.
• Success is measured by revenue targets, positive customer feedback and market share growth.

Required profile

• University degree in science, nursing or a related qualification, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven account management or sales experience (minimum 2 years) in medical devices or pharmaceuticals (GP rep); ideally a nurse in QLD Health wanting to move into medical device sales.
• Full Australian working rights.
