Account Manager – Energy Transition

About the role

Join a leading energy‑transition company operating Australia’s largest Virtual Power Plant platform. As an Account Manager you will act as the trusted advisor for large commercial and industrial customers, helping them optimise their energy consumption, storage and market participation.

Key responsibilities

• Own and grow a portfolio of large C&I customers within the Western Electricity Market (WEM).
• Identify and execute cross‑sell and upsell opportunities.
• Serve as the primary contact for commercial, technical and operational queries.
• Drive customer retention and support strong performance outcomes.
• Educate customers on new programs, market developments and platform capabilities.
• Provide customer insights to internal teams to shape product and service delivery.

Required profile

• 1–2+ years of experience in account management, customer success or a client‑facing role.
• Background in energy, utilities, infrastructure or a related sector is highly regarded.
• Experience managing B2B or C&I customer portfolios.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into plain language.
• Self‑starter mentality with a genuine drive to deliver results.
