Account Manager – Client Relations & Paid Social

About the role

Pitstop Marketing is seeking an Account Manager to lead client relationships, craft compelling copy, and run paid social campaigns. Based in Adelaide, you will work hands‑on with a portfolio of accounts, balancing strategic thinking with day‑to‑day execution.

Key responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for communication, work‑in‑progress updates, and delivery.
• Write and edit content across social posts, email newsletters, blogs, website copy, and ad copy.
• Set up, manage, and optimise Meta and LinkedIn advertising campaigns from brief to performance reporting.
• Manage project timelines, scopes, and budgets, proactively flagging issues before they arise.
• Prepare monthly performance reports that deliver actionable insights, not just raw numbers.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in a marketing agency or a client‑facing role.
• Strong writing ability with the capacity to adapt tone for diverse brands and audiences.
• Calm, confident communicator who can manage client expectations under pressure.
• Highly organised, accountable, and able to track time and meet deadlines without constant supervision.
• Team‑player who can both brief colleagues and roll up sleeves to execute tasks.
