Account Manager – Advertising (New Zealand)

About the role

Netflix Ads is building a premium advertising solution in New Zealand. As an Account Manager you will act as the strategic link between the sales team and our clients, overseeing the full lifecycle of video‑ad campaigns from proposal to post‑campaign analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Sales Partners to understand client goals and deliver excellent service.
• Host weekly pipeline and pacing meetings to align on upcoming launches and active campaign performance.
• Build media plans and contribute to RFP responses, including packaging, pricing and targeting.
• Lead campaign kick‑off meetings and gather launch assets from clients.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to produce custom creative assets.
• Work closely with Ad Operations for order implementation and technical troubleshooting.
• Oversee delivery performance, optimize campaigns and provide post‑campaign reports.
• Manage escalations and develop long‑term solutions.
• Maintain deep knowledge of ad products, sponsorships, targeting capabilities and policies.
• Support monthly billing and invoicing processes with finance.
• Build strong relationships with clients and agency partners.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Account Management or Sales Planning within the digital media industry, focused on video advertising.
• Proven ability to work with sales partners and deliver client‑focused solutions.
• Strong analytical mindset for performance monitoring and optimization.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
