Account Executive – Independent Pharmacy

About the role

McPherson’s is seeking an Account Executive to support the Independent Pharmacy channel. Reporting to the National Account Manager, you will coordinate trade activities, promotional planning, and customer administration to drive profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer administration, including forms and account requirements.
• Prepare and submit promotional plans in line with deadlines.
• Support Trade Promotion Management (TPM) by tracking trade spend and activity.
• Maintain accurate forecasting inputs and coordinate updates.
• Assist with new product launches, ranging, and deletion management.
• Coordinate product information, submissions, and sample management for customer activation.
• Produce regular sales and customer reports with high accuracy.
• Resolve operational issues related to orders, claims, supply, and quality.
• Maintain pricing, trade spend, and documentation records.
• Communicate updates to the field sales team via newsletters.
• Analyse distribution and sales data to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Support preparation of range reviews and customer presentations.
