Account Director – Integrated Communications

About the role

We are seeking an Account Director to lead integrated communications programmes for some of Australia’s most recognisable consumer brands. This senior, hands‑on position blends earned media, influencer strategy, brand storytelling and cultural relevance.

Key responsibilities

• Act as senior strategic lead across key consumer accounts, owning client relationships, outcomes and quality of work.
• Develop and execute earned‑led consumer communications strategies, media, influencer and integrated campaigns from concept to delivery.
• Lead influencer strategy and execution, including talent selection, briefing, content alignment, amplification and measurement.
• Mentor and develop account teams, contributing to new business and agency thought leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering at Account Director level within PR or communications.
• Strong background in consumer communications, earned media and brand‑led campaigns.
• Deep knowledge of the Australian media landscape, especially lifestyle, entertainment and consumer outlets.
• Ability to provide senior stakeholder counsel and manage commercial/financial aspects.

• Use of AI tools to support strategy, insights, content development and workflow efficiency.
