About the role
The Aboriginal Health Practitioner will be based at the Pika Wiya Health Services main clinic in Port Augusta, delivering comprehensive primary health care to the local Aboriginal community. This fixed‑term position (2 years) offers an immediate start and a Monday‑to‑Friday schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Perform clinical comprehensive primary health care duties across all sections of Pika Wiya Health Services.
- Deliver clinical and program services, including chronic disease management.
- Work in line with the organisation’s philosophy of comprehensive primary health care and Aboriginal community‑controlled service principles.
- Maintain high quality of service and ensure service standards are met.
Required profile
- Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent education in health.
- Ability to work onsite at the Pika Wiya Health Services clinic.
- Commitment to a 2‑year fixed‑term contract.
- Availability for an immediate start, Monday to Friday.
