2nd Class Welder – Structural Steel Fabrication

About the role

A leading manufacturing business serving mainly the mining industry, with more than 40 employees in a local Perth workshop, is adding 2nd Class Welders in long-term positions. The role is based in Welshpool, Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with no overtime required.

Key responsibilities

• Measure, cut and weld structural steel
• Complete general fabrication work
• Perform basic welding processes, including MIG, SMAW and FCAW
• Use various tools in a workshop environment and assist the team

Required profile

• Previous welding experience and strong hand and power tool skills
• Driver's licence and reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test before starting
• Willingness to obtain a national police clearance
• Full-time Australian working rights
