12D Designer (Roads, Rail, Land Development) – All Levels

About the role

KBR is looking for 12D Designers at all career stages to join its civil teams in Perth and Adelaide. You will support a strong pipeline of road, rail, and land‑development projects, focusing on the discipline that matches your expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed design models using 12d for rail corridors, road networks or land‑development schemes.
• Produce construction‑ready drawings and documentation in AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to ensure design quality and project alignment.
• Apply sector‑specific standards for rail, roads or land development as required.

Required profile

• Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Strong proficiency in 12d (essential).
• Experience with AutoCAD and exposure to Bentley Rail and/or OpenRoads.
• Design experience in at least one of the following: rail, roads, or land development.
• Background in a consulting or design environment with a practical, innovative mindset.
• Confidence in stakeholder interaction and contribution to a collaborative team culture.
