Y1-Y6 English & Maths Tutor / Lecturer

About the role

Realus is looking for a Y1-Y6 English and Maths tutor to deliver engaging lessons that build strong foundations in both subjects. The role covers enrichment classes as well as exam-focused programmes such as Scholarship, Selective School, OC and AMC competition preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in English and Maths that spark curiosity and build strong foundations
• Teach enrichment classes and exam-focused programmes where required
• Use MarsLadder AI to guide students from explanation through practice, feedback and mastery
• Give constructive feedback to parents and work with the teaching team to improve lesson materials
• Contribute to the mentor-led training system and share insights to improve the hybrid teaching model
• Inspire students with positivity, patience and energy

Required profile

• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to teach in full English
• Passion for education and the ability to teach in a lively, inspiring and student-friendly way
• Willingness to learn and integrate AI tools into teaching
• Attention to detail, professionalism and a high standard of work
• Experience in exam-focused programmes (Scholarship, Selective, OC, AMC) is highly regarded; previous K-6 enrichment or tutoring experience preferred
• Working With Children Check (employee type)
• Availability to teach weekend classes
