About the role
A leading Australian cooling components repair specialist serving heavy industry is hiring a casual Workshop Assistant in Parkhurst, Rockhampton. The role covers basic housekeeping and simple mechanical tasks in the workshop, with a pay rate of $37.50 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Clean, maintain and tidy the workshop, amenities, gardens and car park as required
- Follow all directives and work instructions given by the Leading Hand and Supervisor
- Carry out basic mechanical duties such as cleaning parts and assembling them
- Use a gennie to wash parts and radiators
- Clean radiator hoses and tubes
Required profile
- Valid driver's licence
- Mechanically minded person
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly beneficial
