Workplace Technology Engineer – SOE & Intune

About the role

The Workplace Technology Engineer (SOE/Intune) joins NHVR’s Technology Operations team to manage Standard Operating Environments, ensure endpoint compliance, and administer Microsoft Intune profiles. This hybrid position blends hands‑on technical work with automation and mentorship of junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update SOE images to meet organisational and industry standards.
• Oversee Microsoft Intune compliance baselines, device enrolments and application deployments.
• Develop PowerShell and Intune scripts to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
• Monitor endpoint health metrics (disk space, CPU, memory) and raise issues as needed.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems on laptops, desktops, docking stations, BIOS and firmware.
• Support mobile devices and manage Multi‑Factor Authentication enrolments and resets.
• Validate backups, perform patch verification, conduct compliance audits and review server access.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing SOE images and Intune profiles.
• Strong PowerShell scripting ability for automation.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting of endpoint hardware, BIOS and firmware.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to broader Workplace Technology initiatives.
