Windows Administrator

About the role

As a Windows Administrator within Leidos Australia’s AGO GEO SPACES program, you will support advanced national‑security capabilities by delivering and maintaining secure, high‑availability infrastructure. You will work alongside specialist technical professionals to keep mission‑critical systems reliable, secure and operational in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for complex Microsoft Windows infrastructure, resolving incidents and maintaining performance of mission‑critical systems.
• Administer and optimise Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022), Active Directory, Group Policy and VMware platforms to ensure secure and reliable service delivery.
• Manage development, packaging, deployment and lifecycle of applications and Standard Operating Environments using MECM.
• Support and maintain physical and virtual infrastructure, including HP OneView and GreenLake platforms, while adhering to security frameworks and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Experienced infrastructure professional comfortable working in secure, complex technical environments.
• Collaborative approach with a commitment to operational excellence and reliable outcomes.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges that support critical business functions.

Required skills

• Administration of Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
• Active Directory and Group Policy management.
• MECM application packaging, deployment and SOE lifecycle management.
• VMware virtual infrastructure administration.
• Level 2/3 incident response and troubleshooting in enterprise environments.
• Experience with HP OneView and GreenLake platforms.
