Wellbeing Worker - Mildura (Casual)

About the role

Wellways is seeking a compassionate Wellbeing Worker to join its Mildura Prevention and Recovery Care (PARC) team, delivered in partnership with Mildura Base Public Hospital. PARC gives short-term, sub-acute mental health support to people who are becoming unwell or moving back into the community after hospital, focusing on recovery, independence and community connection. You will work under the guidance of the PARC Coordinator.

Key responsibilities

• Participant intake and assessment
• Facilitate scheduled group programs
• Conduct daily keywork sessions
• Assist with the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility as required
• Collaborate with the Wellways team, clinical partners, participants, families and other stakeholders

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification and/or demonstrated experience
• Current valid driver's licence and ability to travel for the role
• Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Right to work in Australia
• Satisfactory National Police Record Check (valid within the last 12 months)
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate

What we offer

• Casual pay of $40.49 - $43.42 per hour (SCHADS Level 3B), with leave loading, super and salary packaging
