Welder / Fabricator – NSW

About the role

Just Automotive Recruitment is recruiting two full-time welder/fabricator positions for its client, JB Shed Fabrications Pty Ltd, a private Australian company based in New South Wales that specialises in custom metal and structural building works. The work involves assembling aluminium components according to work instructions and drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble aluminium components in line with work instructions and drawings from supervisors and production staff
• Follow standard job builds and SOPs, and build jobs to the right standards within time limits
• Report broken or damaged machinery and make sure problems are tagged out correctly
• Weld and fabricate as required and to specification
• Follow company health and safety policies and government rules, and take part in toolbox talks and training

Required profile

• Trade qualified in a relevant industry
• Extensive fabrication experience
• Desirable: health and safety training
• Ability to lift, carry and move materials and equipment, climb, balance and work at height or in confined spaces
• Good communication and attention to detail

What we offer

• Pay of $70,000-$85,000 per annum depending on work experience
