Webmethods Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Webmethods Developer to design, build and support integration solutions for our retail and e‑commerce platforms. The role involves working closely with product owners, vendors and QA teams to deliver robust, high‑performance services.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into integration designs, including interface specs, mappings and error handling.
• Develop flow and Java services, adapters, triggers and APIs using webMethods Integration Server and Designer.
• Build and maintain REST/SOAP APIs, B2B/EDI flows and messaging with Universal Messaging or Broker.
• Write unit and integration tests, support SIT, UAT and production cut‑over.
• Package and deploy using Deployer and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Provide L3 support, triage incidents, fix defects and tune performance.

Required profile

• 8+ years of integration development experience, with at least 5 years hands‑on webMethods.
• Proven end‑to‑end delivery of integration projects and strong communication with both business and technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• webMethods Integration Server, Designer, flow and Java services.
• REST and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML/XSLT, flat files, JDBC/SAP adapters.
• Universal Messaging or Broker (pub/sub, guaranteed delivery).
• webMethods API Gateway or API Portal.
• Deployer, Git, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Strong error handling, logging, monitoring and performance tuning.
