About the role

This casual position supports the conversion of an Excel‑based game simulation into a responsive web application for RMIT's Learning and Teaching team. The role starts as soon as possible and offers flexible working arrangements.

Key responsibilities

  • Translate the existing Excel simulation, including game mechanics, investment decisions, scoring and progression, into an intuitive web application.
  • Convert formulas and rules into reliable web‑based application logic.
  • Collaborate with learning designers and academics to improve interfaces, dashboards and interactive features.
  • Provide additional duties as required, including testing and debugging.

Required profile

  • Demonstrated experience developing and deploying web applications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or Web Development.
