Warehouse Operator

About the role

Komatsu Australia is looking for motivated and reliable Warehouse Operators to join its team at the Melbourne Fulfilment Centre in Tarneit. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will help ensure the accurate and efficient movement of parts through the warehouse, supporting customers and the wider business. The role suits people who enjoy a fast-paced warehouse environment and value safety and teamwork.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, sort, pick, pack and dispatch parts and products
• Ensure accurate stock handling, storage and inventory management
• Process inbound and outbound transactions while keeping accurate records
• Work towards operational KPIs and productivity targets
• Support stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory accuracy
• Work with warehouse, logistics and customer support teams
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment
• Take part in shift work and after-hours or weekend call-out rosters as required

Required profile

• Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, inventory or dispatch operations
• Good understanding of warehouse processes and stock control
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• Ability to handle the physical and manual handling demands of the role

Required skills

• Basic computer skills and confidence using warehouse systems
• Highly regarded: current LF Forklift or LO Order Picker licence
• Highly regarded: experience with warehouse management systems
• Highly regarded: knowledge of heavy machinery parts or industrial equipment
