Warehouse Officer (8:6 FIFO, 18-Month Max-Term)

About the role

Liontown Limited is looking for a Warehouse Officer for its Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation in Western Australia. Reporting to the Warehousing Superintendent, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the warehouse, managing inventory and coordinating the receipt and dispatch of materials and equipment used by the mining operations. It is an 18-month max-term opportunity on an 8:6 FIFO roster (12-hour days), flying out of Perth, with a pathway to a supervisory position over time.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock records, track movements, run regular stock checks and implement controls to optimise stock levels and reduce wastage
• Coordinate incoming goods with accurate documentation and quality inspection, and manage timely dispatch to departments and site with logistics teams
• Process and fulfil internal orders for materials and equipment, working closely with procurement
• Optimise the warehouse layout for storage efficiency and accessibility, and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Lift and place goods manually in line with safety procedures and industry standards
• Oversee the care of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, including routine inspections and repairs

Required profile

• 3 years' experience in a warehouse, stores or logistics environment; warehousing, stores or logistics experience in any sector is welcome, and mining or heavy industry exposure is a bonus
• FIFO experience and a Diploma or degree in Logistics or Supply Chain (desirable)
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical, National Police Clearance and drug and alcohol screen

Required skills

• ERP and inventory management systems such as SAP or Pronto (S/4HANA exposure advantageous)
• Current forklift (LF) licence and WA C Class Driver's Licence
• Strong organisation and multitasking, with accuracy under pressure, and effective communication across departments, vendors and logistics teams
