About the role
A leading national Australian distributor of animal health products is looking for an experienced Warehouse Assistant / Storeperson to join its Malaga team immediately. The role suits someone wanting weekday hours with an early Friday finish, steady hours and the chance to move to permanent employment.
Key responsibilities
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Quality checking outgoing stock
- Receiving and putting away goods
- Inventory and stock control
- Forklift operation, if licensed
- Other general warehouse duties as needed by the Warehouse Manager
Required profile
- Previous warehouse or storeperson experience
- Physically fit and willing to do hands-on work
- Driver's licence and reliable transport
- Good communication skills and a strong team attitude
- Full working rights
Required skills
- High-risk forklift licence (highly regarded)
What we offer
- Pay of $35.00-$37.00 per hour plus superannuation and penalties
- Monday to Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm, Friday 7:30am-3:00pm, no weekends
- Immediate start, temp-to-perm position
- Clean, organised warehouse with well-maintained equipment and a supportive team
