Warehouse Assistant – Permanent Part-Time

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our small, friendly team at the Burleigh Heads warehouse. The role is permanent part‑time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am–1:00 pm, and focuses on keeping back‑stock and picking shelves well‑organised.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and organise cartons of back‑stock on warehouse racking.
• Monitor stock levels and replenish picking shelves as required.
• Safely operate a hydraulic lifting machine to access stock stored at height.
• Lift, carry and move large cartons weighing up to 20 kg.
• Assist with unloading shipping containers and incoming deliveries.
• Participate in stocktakes and inventory checks.
• Identify and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Help with picking and packing customer orders when needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean and well‑organised warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with the wider warehouse team.

Required profile

• Reliable, punctual and committed to consistent attendance.
• Physically capable of safely lifting and carrying cartons up to 20 kg.
• Comfortable working at height using a hydraulic lifting machine.
• Self‑starter who can work independently and take ownership of tasks.
