Wardrobe Designer (Full‑time, Brisbane)

About the role

KitchenGroup is seeking a full‑time Wardrobe Designer to join its Brisbane City team. You will work directly with clients to translate their storage needs, lifestyle requirements, and aesthetic preferences into functional, high‑quality wardrobe solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Meet clients on‑site to discuss storage needs, lifestyle requirements and design preferences.
• Develop design concepts, drawings and specifications using CAD or similar software.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, hardware and accessories.
• Coordinate measurements, fittings and liaise with production and installation teams.
• Review samples, textiles and hardware to ensure quality, safety and budget compliance.
• Support showroom presentations and assist sales staff with design expertise.

Required profile

• Strong background in fashion or wardrobe design with a focus on functional layouts.
• Knowledge of textiles, material durability and visual impact.
• Experience measuring and fitting wardrobes to ensure practicality and comfort.
• Ability to create detailed drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
• Relevant qualification in interior design, fashion design or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD or similar design software.
• Embroidery or decorative detailing techniques.
