Volvo Truck Parts Interpreter, Perth

About the role

A Perth-based fleet, transport, bus, vehicle and hire provider, growing due to continued demand, is seeking an experienced Volvo Truck Parts Interpreter. The role identifies, sources and supplies parts for a wide range of commercial vehicles and fleet assets, working closely with workshop teams, suppliers, customers and regional operations. The position is full-time, starts immediately and is permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, source and supply parts for commercial vehicles and fleet assets
• Work with workshop teams, suppliers, customers and regional operations to ensure the right parts are available when needed
• Handle assets such as Volvo Trucks, heavy commercial vehicles, prime movers, medium-duty trucks, trailers, utilities and SUVs, fleet and hire equipment and Volvo Machinery

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience as a Parts Interpreter
• At least 3 years of experience with Volvo Trucks and/or Volvo Machinery parts (essential)
• Strong knowledge of truck and heavy vehicle parts
• Experience with stock control, inventory management and stock auditing
• Experience arranging freight and coordinating local deliveries
• National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months
• Applicants must already hold Australian working rights; no visa sponsorship available

Required skills

• Parts identification and sourcing
• Experience with parts inventory management systems
• Odoo experience highly desirable
• Mechanical experience or strong mechanical aptitude
• Customer service, communication, organisational and time-management skills
