Village Manager – FIFO 8:6 – Goldfields Region

About the role

Sodexo is seeking a Village Manager for its remote mining sites in the Goldfields Region. This FIFO position operates on an 8‑day on, 6‑day off roster, flying out from Perth, and involves overseeing all aspects of village operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall operations and administration of the residential village, including staff, budgets and maintenance.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures and programs to enhance the resident experience.
• Coordinate delivery of village services such as catering, housekeeping and leisure activities.
• Foster a positive community culture, address resident concerns and facilitate social events.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legislation governing residential villages.
• Maintain financial performance through budgeting, cost control and revenue generation.

Required profile

• Client‑centric approach with strong people‑management and culture‑building skills.
• Proven ability to negotiate, influence and interact effectively at all business levels.
• Experience in remote site environments or extensive hospitality management at a general‑manager level.
• Leadership in safety, with a focus on HSE requirements for remote sites.

Required skills

• HACCP compliance and food safety knowledge.
• Current manual driver’s licence for operating site vehicles.
• Familiarity with remote site HSE standards.
