Video Editor & Social Media Handler

About the role

We are a growing Australian tour and travel company seeking a creative Video Editor & Social Media Handler to bring our destinations to life online. You will produce engaging video content and manage our social media channels to boost our digital presence.

Key responsibilities

• Film, edit, and produce short‑form and long‑form videos for platforms such as Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Stories, and full‑length videos.
• Create promotional videos, destination showcases, customer testimonials, behind‑the‑scenes clips, and travel‑tips content.
• Manage and grow our social media presence on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and other channels.
• Plan, schedule, and post content regularly while engaging with the online community (comments, messages, reviews).
• Develop and execute content calendars and campaigns, track performance metrics, and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align content with tours and promotions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with social media trends, algorithms, and best practices in the travel industry.

Required profile

• Proven experience in video editing with a strong travel or lifestyle portfolio.
• Hands‑on experience managing social media accounts for a business, preferably in tourism or travel.
• Excellent storytelling, creativity, and ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
