Vice President, Private Side Distribution – Capital Markets

About the role

The Vice President will lead private‑side distribution of syndicated loan products for MUFG's Capital Markets Group across Australia and New Zealand. This senior position involves direct investor coverage, collaboration with origination and product teams, and driving both primary and secondary loan transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with institutional and bank investors, providing regular market colour and feedback.
• Lead distribution of primary syndicated loans, coordinating book‑running, invitation letters, commitment letters and other syndication materials.
• Collaborate with regional MUFG desks, relationship managers and product teams to optimise transaction structures and distribution strategies.
• Support secondary sales by assessing asset saleability, identifying suitable investors and managing execution.
• Maintain investor databases, pipeline trackers and distribution reporting.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in loan syndication, debt capital markets or coverage roles at a major Australian or international financial institution.
• Strong understanding of loan syndication, leveraged finance or project finance products.
• Proven ability to manage multiple transaction workstreams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Undergraduate or Master’s degree from a leading university.
