Vice President, Private Side Distribution – Capital Markets

About the role

The Vice President will lead private‑side distribution of syndicated loan products for MUFG's Capital Markets Group across Australia and New Zealand. The role combines direct investor coverage, coordination of primary and secondary loan transactions, and collaboration with origination and product teams to expand MUFG’s distribution capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with institutional and bank investors, providing market colour and feedback to support client discussions.
• Lead the distribution of primary syndicated loan transactions, managing book‑running, syndication materials, and sell‑down processes.
• Collaborate with regional MUFG desks and product teams to optimise transaction structures and distribution strategies.
• Support secondary sales, evaluate investor appetite for bespoke deals, and maintain investor databases and reporting.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in syndications, debt capital markets or coverage roles at a major Australian or international financial institution.
• Strong understanding of loan syndication, debt markets and investor dynamics, with experience in structured loan products such as leveraged or project finance.
• Proven ability to manage multiple transaction workstreams in a fast‑paced environment.
