Vice President, Liquidity Solutions – Transaction Banking

About the role

MUFG is seeking a Vice President to lead Liquidity Solutions within Transaction Banking for its Melbourne (and Sydney) office. You will shape liquidity management for financial institutions and sponsored finance segments, leveraging MUFG’s global network to deliver tailored cash‑management advisory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to acquire new cash‑management clients and deepen existing relationships across Oceania.
• Collaborate with product managers, relationship managers, global markets, e‑banking and operations teams to design and deliver bespoke liquidity solutions.
• Identify new‑to‑bank opportunities, including subsidiaries of international corporates, and integrate them into MUFG’s regional footprint.
• Lead deposit review analysis, providing pricing guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare internal reports on pipeline activity and support regional head‑office reporting requirements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in transaction banking or cash management, preferably with financial institutions or sponsored finance clients.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in finance, banking or a related field.
• Strong organisational ability to manage multiple projects and accurate pipeline reporting.
• Demonstrated adaptability to changing market conditions and client needs.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of liquidity and cash‑management products.
• Experience with deposit review analysis and pricing strategy.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks and transaction‑banking system administration.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
