Vice President, Application & Infrastructure Service Management

About the role

State Street is seeking a Vice President to lead Application, Infrastructure and Service Management for its Global Technology Services group in Australia. The role focuses on ensuring stability of critical production systems, driving automation, and collaborating with senior business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Represent production management in senior meetings, presenting stability metrics for Australian clients.
• Maintain stable operation of critical business applications, acting as hands‑on resolver or liaison with users, support teams and vendors.
• Identify and implement automation, process optimisation and service improvements using scripting or RPA.
• Develop and update SOPs and runbooks based on L2/L3 insights.
• Collaborate with Level 3 teams for permanent fixes, conduct RCA and maintain the Known Error Database.
• Manage stakeholder communication for incidents, service status and changes.
• Support onboarding of new applications, release validation and infrastructure changes.

Required profile

• 10+ years experience in financial services, operations or application support.
• Strong ownership, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Experience with investment banking or FinTech environments.
• Ability to translate technical issues into business impact.
