Veterinary Nurse - Mixed Practice

About the role

Clermont Veterinary Surgery, a well-established mixed practice serving the local community and surrounding districts for over 45 years, is seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse. The clinic provides care across small animals, equine and livestock, with surgery, dentistry and hospital care, and 24-hour emergency services. Full-time, part-time and locum opportunities are available, with competitive pay based on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with consultations, treatments and hospital cases
• Surgical nursing, anaesthetic preparation and monitoring
• Administer medications and support patient recovery
• Deliver client service
• Assist veterinarians in the clinic and on farm visits when required

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
• At least 2 years of veterinary nursing experience highly regarded
• Mixed practice, equine or large animal experience highly regarded but not essential
• Team-first attitude and willingness to learn across all areas of the clinic

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
